BAKU STAR Runs Aground on Volga River: Incident Report
On August 8, 2010, the cargo vessel BAKU STAR (IMO: 8867040) encountered trouble as it ran aground at the 2948 kilometer mark of the Volga River. This incident resulted in a minimal draft loss of 0.15 meters; fortunately, no damages or oil spills were reported.
