A devastating fire erupted aboard the 'DL Amber', positioned roughly 7.4 kilometers north of Jawoldo, Ongjin-gun, Incheon, at 10:38 p.m. on August 27, 2026. The incident led to the tragic deaths of two crew members—a man in his 60s and another in his 20s—who were discovered in cardiac arrest inside the engine room.
