In a strategic move, Torm has officially exited the bulk carrier market by selling two of its panamax vessels to an undisclosed buyer. The ships involved in this transaction are the Torm Anholt, which boasts a deadweight tonnage of 74,200 and was built in 2004, and the Torm Bornholm, with a larger capacity of 76,000 dwt, also constructed in 2004. Notably, both vessels were manufactured in Japan. This sale marks a significant shift in Torm's operational strategy as it refocuses its business portfolio away from bulk carriers.
