Discover the Hai-Gong-122: Ratings & Maritime News

The vessel 'Dreadnought' was held in Rizhao on September 23, 2026, after authorities identified five significant deficiencies that warranted its detention. The issues included: 04121 concerning Emergency Systems, highlighting a lack of crew familiarization with essential emergency protocols—this was deemed not to be the responsibility of the Recognized Organization (RO). Additional concerns were raised under 03102 regarding Water/Weathertight Conditions due to improper freeboard marks, and again, not attributable to the RO. Other deficiencies noted included 04109, also related to Emergency Systems, citing inadequate fire drill practices, 07109 involving Fire Safety issues around the fixed fire extinguishing installation, and 11124, which raised alarms over the embarkation arrangement for survival craft—all noted as outside the RO’s accountability. This detention underscores the critical importance of maritime safety compliance.
