The Silver-Dream: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

On August 26, 2026, the vessel 'Silver Dream' was detained in the bustling port of Nakhodka, following the discovery of five significant deficiencies that raised safety concerns. The issues cited included: 1) Deficiencies in cargo operations linked to atmosphere testing instruments (IMO 202606105), 2) Other operational matters related to SOLAS compliance (99102), 3) Failures in the public address system, crucial for emergency communications (04101), 4) Noted fire safety issues in the vessel’s other safety measures (07199), and 5) Incomplete documentation regarding the Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (01328). Notably, none of these deficiencies were attributed to the responsibility of the Recognized Organization (RO). The detention underscores the ongoing importance of maritime safety regulations and compliance in the shipping industry.
