Working Conditions Aboard the Transocean-Endurance

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), based in South Korea, has successfully delivered the cutting-edge midwater rig, Songa Endurance, to Songa Offshore. This modern, sixth-generation rig is designed to operate in harsh environments and features high specifications tailored for challenging offshore conditions. Songa Endurance is set to embark on a journey to Norway, where it will kick off an extensive eight-year drilling contract with Statoil. The rig's initial assignment will focus on operations at the Troll Field, situated on the Norwegian continental shelf, marking a significant step in offshore drilling capabilities.
