On August 24, the Guardamar-Urania successfully rescued 248 individuals from an overloaded cayuco, a type of small boat prone to capsizing. This significant operation saw the migrants ultimately disembarked at Arguineguín, illustrating the vessel's efficiency in handling large-scale rescue efforts in collaboration with other regional maritime agencies, including the CCS of Salvamento Marítimo in various Spanish locations.

In another commendable operation on October 14, the vessel was deployed again, this time rescuing 52 migrants, including 43 men, seven women, and two minors, approximately 130 nautical miles from Punta Maspalomas. The rescue was facilitated by the vigilant reporting of a nearby merchant ship, which remained in the area until the Guardamar-Urania arrived to provide assistance. These individuals were safely transported back to Arguineguín, showcasing the coordination and swift response typical of the Salvamento Marítimo network.

The most recent commendation came on October 20, when the Guardamar-Urania rescued 63 migrants from an inflatable boat in distress, further emphasizing its crucial role in search and rescue operations off the coast of Gran Canaria. This mission followed a report from the bulk carrier Nord Topas, underscoring ongoing collaboration between commercial shipping and rescue services. Among the rescued were 16 women and two minors, highlighting the vulnerable nature of many individuals attempting perilous sea crossings.
