Fortunately, their extensive investigations concluded without finding any explosives, leading to the arrest of the man for communicating false information. Operations at the port returned to normal, but the event raised concerns over passenger safety and security protocols on large cruise ships.Shortly after this incident, on August 21, the Ventura navigated perilously close to an emergency situation when a British crew member required urgent medical assistance while the vessel was located 22 nautical miles west of Fisterra. The vessel's request for medical evacuation was promptly actioned by the CCS Fisterra of Salvamento Marítimo, which dispatched the SAR helicopter Helimer 402. The crew member was successfully hoisted and transferred to Alvedro airport in A Coruña, where an ambulance awaited to facilitate further medical care. The police intervened, arresting two of the demonstrators and ultimately restoring order shortly after a delay that lasted approximately half an hour.
