Disney-Adventure: Voyage Delays and Weather Woes Ahead of Anticipated Launch

The Disney-Adventure is making headlines as the highly anticipated cruise ship faces a series of operational challenges ahead of its maiden voyage. Originally scheduled to set sail on December 15, 2025, the ship's inaugural journey has been postponed to March 10, 2026. After months of delays and operational hurdles, the Disney-Adventure finally departed Bremerhaven on January 4, 2026, at approximately 4 p.m., en route to Freeport, Bahamas, with an estimated arrival time of January 14. Initially slated for departure at noon, the ship experienced additional delays but has now left after extensive dock time since September 2025 for final outfitting and interior preparations at the Columbus Quay. The ship, constructed by Meyer shipyard in Wismar, is set to embark on her first regular cruise in March 2026, representing a long-awaited launch for Disney's latest investment in family cruising.
