During inspections, it was discovered that the height of the deck cargo exceeded the maximum allowable height of 40 meters. Carrying a mobile crane and various spare parts for a wind farm en route from Rostock to Bremerhaven, Annette had no choice but to back out of the lock and take an alternative route around Skagen, finally reaching Bremerhaven on August 28 at 8 a.m.
