On August 25, 2019, passengers reported witnessing an individual fall overboard while the vessel was navigating the Stockholm archipelago. The incident prompted a substantial search operation that included helicopters, boats, and the involvement of the Swedish Coast Guard. Unfortunately, after an exhaustive search and broader area coverage, the operation was called off without finding the individual by 11:45 a.m., with the ferry continuing its journey shortly thereafter.

A particularly harrowing episode occurred on August 15, 2019, when a person was reported to have jumped overboard during the Baltic-Queen's stop in Mariehamn. Fortunately, the swift response from the ship’s staff, along with a rapid arrival from a nearby patrol boat, enabled rescuers to successfully retrieve the individual using a lifebuoy and lifeboats before transferring them to the Åland Central Hospital for medical attention.
