The vessel arrived at Bhavnagar Anchorage on July 31, 2026, marking the beginning of its final phase. Following a brief stay at this anchorage, it made its way to Alang Anchorage on August 3, 2026. Just over a day later, on August 4, the vessel was officially beached in Alang, a well-known shipbreaking yard. This marks the end of the sailing life for the Ft-Island, which had served multiple purposes throughout its maritime tenure.
