The Aal-Kobe: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

AAL Shipping, a leading player in global maritime transport, has successfully transported four state-of-the-art rubber-tired gantry cranes (RTGs) to the Port of Felixstowe. This delivery is a crucial component of an ongoing development initiative aimed at expanding the UK's busiest container port. With this upgrade, Felixstowe is set to increase its container storage capacity by an impressive 18,000 TEU, addressing the escalating demands of the shipping industry. The cranes, manufactured by ZPMC in China, were meticulously loaded in Shanghai before embarking on their journey aboard the mega-size multi-purpose vessel AAL Kobe, with a deadweight tonnage of 31,000 DWT, all facilitated by the CPIA forwarding and shipping agency. Each crane boasts substantial dimensions of 32 meters in length, 14 meters in width, and 30 meters in height, with a hefty weight just shy of 200 tons, positioning them perfectly for enhanced operational efficiency at the port.
