On the morning of October 28, 2024, a significant incident occurred involving the ferry Agios Nektarios Aeginas at the Port Station of Mantoudi. The Master of the vessel reported that prior to its scheduled departure from Kymasiou for a route encompassing the ports of Skiathos, Glossa, Skopelos, Skiathos, and Mantoudi, the ferry experienced damage to its port side rudder. In response, the Port Authority of Mantoudi swiftly imposed a ban on the vessel's departure. The ferry will remain docked until the crew provides a class maintenance certificate from the monitoring classification society, ensuring that all safety protocols and navigational standards have been met.

On the morning of September 22, 2023, a significant air conditioning failure was reported aboard the ferry 'Agios Nektarios Aiginas' during its routine journey from Aegina to Piraeus. At the time of the incident, the vessel was carrying 137 passengers along with their vehicles, operating in the coordinates 37°46'00” N, 023°25'00” E. Following the report, the Piraeus Port Authority took swift action, grounding the ferry until the air conditioning unit could be fully repaired and a maintenance certificate was secured from the appropriate classification society. To ensure that passengers were not left stranded, the vessel was promptly replaced by the Greek-flagged passenger ro/ro ferry, 'Nissos Aegina', which continued along the scheduled route.

On November 13, 2022, the ferry 'Apollon Hellas' (IMO: 8807105) faced a minor allision while departing from the port of Aegina. The incident occurred when the vessel made contact with the 'Agios Nektarios Aiginas', which had docked after arriving from Piraeus on the previous day, November 12. Fortunately, there were no reports of damage or injuries stemming from this minor incident. Both vessels resumed their journeys without any disruptions to their scheduled services.
