Ferry 'Agia Anna' Faces Exhaust System Issues Near Ouranopolis
On January 12, 2024, the captain of the ferry 'Agia Anna' alerted the Port Authority of Ouranopolis about significant damage to the engine's exhaust system while navigating near coordinates 40° 14' 24" N, 024° 07' 39" E. The ferry, which was making its way from Dafni to Ouranopolis, successfully transported 15 passengers ashore at Ouranopolis. In response to the incident, the Port Authority has prohibited the vessel from departing until necessary repairs are completed and a seaworthiness certificate is obtained from the relevant classification society.
