The vessel 'Alev Kaman', traveling from Istanbul to Samsun, found itself near Kefken Island when it issued a distress signal requiring urgent medical assistance. In response, the lifeboat 'Kegm 10' was deployed to conduct a medevac operation. The patient was successfully retrieved from the vessel and transported to a waiting ambulance in Kovanağzı for further care.
