What Crew Members Say About Alouetteii

On the morning of July 16, 2016, the luxury yacht 'Alouette II', carrying 18 passengers, encountered trouble and ran aground approximately 300 meters from the Aegina port situated in the picturesque Saronic Gulf. In response to the situation, the Coast Guard of Aegina sprang into action by deploying the tugboats 'Maltezos II' and 'Maltezos Rescue', which included a Maltese diver among their crew. Thanks to their efforts, the 'Alouette II' was successfully detached from its grounding. The yacht was then anchored safely 0.7 miles southwest of Aegina's port. Later that evening, it made its way to Perama, where it was anchored for detailed inspections and surveys to assess any potential damage.
