Despite the assistance of tugs, the vessel collided with the Alte Liebe Jetty due to the adverse conditions created by storm Herwart. The ship, which was transporting components for wind farms, struck the jetty with its starboard foreship. Following the incident, the 'Tip Bremen' successfully docked at Lübbert Quay at 11:30 a.m. After a short stay, the vessel resumed its journey on November 2 at 12:30 p.m., setting sail for Dunkirk, with an estimated time of arrival on November 3.
