In a significant achievement for NYK Group, three of its vessels have been awarded the prestigious Best Quality Ship Award for 2015, as recognized by the Japan Federation of Pilots’ Associations (JFPA). The accoladed vessels are the Antares Leader, a car carrier operated by NYK Shipmanagement Pte. Ltd., the Hisui Horizon, a bulk carrier managed by Hachiuma Steamship Co. Ltd., and the LNG carrier LNG Dream, under the management of NYK LNG Shipmanagement (UK) Ltd. The award ceremony took place on June 24 at the Todofuken Kaikan in Tokyo, celebrating the commitment to superior vessel operation and environmental sustainability. Established in fiscal 2003, the Best Quality Ship Award aims to raise awareness about safe marine operations and the importance of preserving our oceanic and port environments.
