Working Conditions Aboard the Arctica-1

On June 5, 2017, at 5 a.m., the vessel Arctica 1 encountered a significant setback when it experienced an engine failure, causing it to drift uncontrolled in the frigid waters of the Kara Sea, situated near the northern Yamal peninsula. Prior to this incident, on May 6 at 6:30 p.m., the ship was safely moored at the port of Sabetta.
