This impressive ship is the second of ten vessels commissioned by a client based in Arklow, Ireland. Designed with efficiency in mind, Arklow Cape boasts a substantial hold volume of 220,000 cubic feet and an impressive carrying capacity exceeding 5,000 deadweight tons, while remaining under the 3,000 gross tons threshold. The vessel features a single hold and is classified with an 1A iceclass notation, ensuring its capability in icy waters. Powering the Arklow Cape is a robust 1,740 kW MaK engine, which drives a single ducted propeller for optimal performance.
