Incident Report: 'Isemirai' Allides with 'Asaka' in Yokkaichi Port
On January 20, 2022, at approximately 2 p.m., the cargo ship 'Isemirai' (IMO: 9903334) experienced an allision with the moored vessel 'Asaka' while departing from Yokkaichi port. This unexpected incident resulted in several vehicles on the wharf plummeting into the water. Fortunately, both vessels sustained only minor damage to their stern sections. Following the incident, the 'Isemirai' successfully docked in Kobe on January 21 at around 11:30 a.m. In contrast, the 'Asaka' set sail on January 22 at 7:20 a.m. and reached Hakata port on January 23 at 9:20 p.m.
