The vessel, which was making its journey from Antwerp to Aliaga, was approximately 85 miles west of Pylos when the crew member sustained a painful bruise on his right hand. In response to the emergency, a Navy helicopter swiftly ascended to execute the rescue operation. The injured man was hoisted from the ship and transported to Kalamata.
