The Baltic: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

On April 26, 2021, at 1:46 p.m., the freighter 'Baltic' encountered difficulties while navigating towards Odense and ran aground in the Odense Fjord. The incident occurred between Klintebjerg and Vigelsø, near the entrance to the Odense Canal. To assist in the refloating operation, the tugboat 'Svitzer Idun' (IMO: 9367487) was dispatched from Odense. After three hours of diligent efforts, the tug successfully refloated the 'Baltic' at approximately 4:45 p.m. Following the successful operation, the vessel proceeded to dock in Odense-Vigerø at 8:45 p.m. Subsequent inspections confirmed no leaks or spills from the ship. The next day, on April 27, the 'Baltic' continued its journey back to Aarhus.
