The crew swiftly activated the CO2 firefighting system, and the port’s firefighting team promptly responded to the scene to cool the bulkhead surrounding the affected compartment. Thankfully, the fire was quickly extinguished without any injuries reported. As a result of the situation, the BAO SHAN III is scheduled to commence offloading operations today, October 25.
