Berge-Asahidake Vessel Reviews and Specifications

On December 10, 2019, the bulk carrier 'Berge Asahidake' fell victim to an armed robbery while at the Panjang anchorage. At approximately 8:25 PM, three assailants, brandishing long knives, boarded the vessel. The robbers gained access to the engine room workshop and made off with valuable auxiliary engine spare parts before fleeing the scene. Local authorities were notified promptly following the incident. After the harrowing experience, the 'Berge Asahidake' set sail from Panjang on December 13 and safely reached Gladstone anchorage on December 26.
