The Berge-Neblina: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

In a landmark achievement, the Isle of Man Ship Registry has surpassed the significant threshold of 15 million Gross Registered Tonnage (GRT) for the very first time, due to the recent registration of the massive ore carrier, ‘Berge Neblina’. This remarkable feat marks a new chapter for the registry, which is witnessing a surge in interest from maritime operators in the Far East and a rapidly expanding Asian clientele. The ‘Berge Neblina’, boasting a colossal 195,000 Gross Registered Tons (GRT) and measuring an impressive 345 metres in length, is one of the largest vessels currently navigating the seas. Capable of transporting up to 388,000 tonnes of cargo, this giant primarily serves the vital role of ferrying iron ore from Brazil to China, thereby supporting the latter's enormous steel production needs that fuel its robust economy. Managed by Berge Bulk, a subsidiary within the BW Group, the vessel operates out of Singapore.
