Consequently, the ferry's scheduled departure from Øksfjord at 4:10 p.m. and its 5:45 p.m. service from Hasvik were both canceled. Fortunately, after addressing the technical issues, the 'Bergsfjord' was able to resume operations by 8:50 p.m.

The 'Bergsfjord' ferry has been temporarily taken out of service on the Hasvik route due to a concerning hull breach. A recent inspection uncovered a hole measuring 40 millimeters in length and 2 millimeters in width located at the ship's bottom.
