In a remarkable story of survival, two migrants from Santo Domingo were discovered clinging to the rudder of the cargo ship 'Gat Feeling'. These individuals endured a harrowing three-day journey adrift off the coast of Salina before the authorities permitted the vessel to dock. The ship finally arrived at the Cargill quay on April 1, 2022. It is believed they had been on the rudder for a total of seven days, and upon reaching safety, they requested asylum in Bonaire.
