Three Ships Navigate the Strait of Hormuz Amid Ongoing Blockades
On April 21, 2026, three vessels successfully navigated through the strategically significant Strait of Hormuz, despite ongoing blockades imposed by both the United States and Iran. Among them was the 'Shoja 2', which made its way into the Gulf of Oman and has since arrived off the coast of Khor Fakkan. Notably, the other two vessels, the 'Lian Star' and 'Ean Spir', showed no discernible connections to Iran. The 'Lian Star' traversed the strait and was observed sailing southeast along Iran's coastline in the Gulf of Oman. Meanwhile, the 'Ean Spir', previously known as 'Blue Commander' and lacking a defined ownership, commenced its journey northeast from the vicinity of Ras Al-Khaimah before turning south towards the Gulf of Oman, seemingly aiming for Shinas in Oman as its final destination.
