Working Conditions Aboard the Blue-Star-Naxos

On May 4th, an unexpected situation arose for the ferry 'Blue Star Naxos' while departing from the bustling port of Piraeus. The vessel's captain alerted the Port Authority of Tzelepis that the ship's anchor had become ensnared with that of another Greek vessel moored nearby, preventing it from being lifted. To resolve the issue, a port launch was dispatched to assist in the recovery of the stranded anchor. Thanks to their valiant efforts, the anchor was successfully freed, allowing the 'Blue Star Naxos' to resume its journey. The ferry departed with 514 passengers and 96 crew members aboard, continuing its scheduled route to picturesque destinations including Paros, Naxos, Donoussa, Aegiali, and Astypalaia.
