Bo-Hai-Jing-Zhu Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

In a bold move to enhance its fleet, Bohai Ferry revealed yesterday its intention to invest a substantial RMB760 million in the construction of two new Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) vessels. Each of these innovative ships is designed to feature a 2,500-meter vehicle lane, allowing for efficient loading and unloading, as well as a capacity to accommodate 2,300 passengers comfortably. The company disclosed that approximately 65% of the financing for this shipbuilding initiative will be sourced through bank loans, which are slated to be repaid over a five-year period after the vessels commence operations. This strategic investment underscores Bohai Ferry's commitment to expanding its maritime capabilities and improving service for its customers.

On October 11, Bohai Ferry Co., Ltd. will proudly unveil Asia's largest RoRo passenger vessel, the 'Bo Hai Jing Zhu'. After an extensive four-month phase of installation and adjustments, the vessel is set to make its operational debut. The 'Bo Hai Jing Zhu', a sister ship to 'Bo Hai Cui Zhu', signifies a hefty investment of RMB 400 million for its construction. This state-of-the-art vessel boasts the capacity to accommodate up to 2,292 passengers alongside more than 300 vehicles and even features a helipad for added convenience. Measuring an impressive 178.8 meters in length and 28 meters in width, the 'Bo Hai Jing Zhu' stands as a giant in the maritime industry, reshaping passenger ferry travel across the region.
