During my stay on the BP for several weeks, I found the accommodations to be quite satisfactory; the rooms were consistently clean. While the vessel itself has a somewhat outdated feel, it remains generally acceptable overall.

Cecon ASA Navigates New Challenges with CECON PRIDE Delivery Delay
Cecon ASA is currently facing delays in the delivery of the CECON PRIDE, the first of three advanced construction vessels ordered from Chantier Davie Canada Inc. located in Lévis, Quebec. Initially, these vessels were slated for completion in 2009 following their order in 2007. However, a series of ownership transitions and operational hurdles at Davie have led to significant setbacks. While the CECON PRIDE was expected to be delivered on February 21, 2014, a recent announcement revealed that this date has been pushed back due to unfavorable sea ice conditions affecting necessary sea trials, now anticipated for the latter part of March. To address its financial strategies amid these delays, Cecon's subsidiary, Rever Offshore AS, has undertaken additional adjustments. In a statement released on the Oslo Stock Exchange, Cecon reported that it has entered into a new agreement extending the maturity dates of its senior tranche A and tranche B bonds. These changes are backed by certain funds and accounts managed by York Capital Management Global Advisors, LLC and its affiliates, now pushed to July 15. The agreement includes a provision to compensate bondholders with an extension fee of $250,000 for every 15-day extension beginning May 1, 2014. According to Cecon, this arrangement is aimed at synchronizing the repayment of construction financing with the CECON PRIDE's anticipated delivery from the shipyard. Source: MarineLog
