Working Conditions Aboard the Bos-Angel

On November 28, 2025, the cargo vessel 'Bos Angel' was detained in Tekirdag by inspectors from the Mediterranean Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) following a comprehensive inspection that uncovered alarming deficiencies. The inspection team identified a total of ten deficiencies, with one categorized as severe enough to warrant the vessel's detention. The inspections covered various areas, including the accommodation and galley, engine room, navigation bridge, outside decks, forecastle, and steering room. Additionally, critical systems such as the communication equipment, emergency fire pump, emergency generator, emergency steering, and oil filtering equipment were thoroughly evaluated. After addressing the issues, 'Bos Angel' was cleared for release on December 1 and is now en route to Samsun, with an estimated time of arrival set for December 4.
