The Br-Glory: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

On the morning of April 5, 2014, a maritime mishap occurred in the Aegean Sea when the cargo ship 'Angel Alia' collided with the 'Ameland,' approximately 19 miles northwest of Lesbos, at the northwestern edge of the island. The incident saw the 'Angel Alia,' which was traveling without a cargo from Casablanca, strike the port side of the 'Ameland.' Fortunately, both vessels sustained only hull breaches and minor dents above the waterline on their starboard sides, allowing them to continue their journeys. The Greek Coastguard provided clearance for both ships to resume operations after assessing the damages. The 'Angel Alia' ultimately docked at Tuzla anchorage on the morning of April 6, after its voyage, while the 'Ameland' was traveling from Istanbul and heading towards Lorient. Notably, all crew members remained unharmed during the incident, with the 'Ameland' carrying a total of 17 Syrian crew members and the 'Angel Alia' having 11 Russian crew members aboard.
