Working Conditions Aboard the British-Contributor

In a brazen act of piracy, three thieves infiltrated the vessel 'British Contributor' while it was anchored approximately 15 nautical miles east of Bandar Penawar, Johor. The incident occurred on September 8, 2019, at around 9 a.m., as the robbers accessed the ship via its anchor cable at coordinates 01°33'20.0"N, 104°31'46.0"E. During their intrusion, the culprits made off with essential ship assets, including the forward life raft, alongside various ship's properties and supplies. This audacious theft was later uncovered when the crew reviewed the ship's CCTV footage, revealing the full extent of the break-in and the robbers' escape.
