Issues with fire-fighting equipment, inoperative remote control means, and oil accumulation in the engine room were reported. Navigational safety was compromised as the voyage data recorder was nonfunctional and nautical publications had not been updated. Emergency systems were also criticized for unsafe conditions in designated safe areas. Furthermore, the ISM certificate was deemed not as required. Fortunately, after addressing these significant concerns, 'Brothers RS' was released on July 8 and resumed its journey towards Constanta, where it successfully arrived on July 10.
