Currently stationed at Gestione Bacini's Ercolino II dry dock in Livorno, the vessel is undergoing significant renovations to adapt for international navigation. Once these enhancements are complete, the ferry will reemerge under the new name 'Bunifazziu', reflecting the Corsican adaptation of Bonifacio. Scheduled to operate between Santa Teresa di Gallura and Bonifacio, the Bunifazziu will don Moby's signature livery, featuring the renowned blue whale, making it a familiar sight for travelers in the region.
