The Bw-Carina: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

BW LPG Limited has proudly announced the successful delivery of the BW CARINA, marking the second addition to its groundbreaking newbuilding initiative that comprises a total of eight Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs). During a ship naming event held in Ulsan, South Korea, BW LPG CEO Nicholas Gleeson highlighted the significance of this milestone, stating, "These vessels enter a particularly robust chartering market, crafted with the superior quality we anticipate from Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI). They play a vital role in reinforcing our commitment to provide safe and efficient high-quality maritime transportation of LPG to our customers." With the arrival of the BW CARINA, BW LPG's operational fleet now includes 37 vessels, featuring 21 owned VLGCs, 11 chartered-in VLGCs, and five owned LGCs, with an additional six VLGCs slated for future delivery. As the leading owner and operator of VLGCs globally, BW LPG excels in both the number of vessels and LPG carrying capacity.
