Athens, Greece - In a strategic move to boost its operations, Diana Shipping, a prominent player in the dry bulk shipping sector, has secured a time charter agreement with Singapore's Koch Shipping. This partnership sees the company's Capesize vessel, the m/v Baltimore, entering into a charter that will span twelve to fourteen months. The 177,243 deadweight ton (dwt) Capesize vessel officially began the charter on June 6 and will operate at an attractive gross charter rate of USD 18,050 per day. This deal underscores the growing demand for Capesize vessels in the shipping market.
Cargill Secures New Time Charter for Vessel Delivery
On July 29, 2023, a new time charter agreement was finalized with the delivery of the vessel Lanshan. The charter, valued at $7,750 per day, is set to span a period of 5 to 8 months.
