On November 26, 2020, the CROSS Corsen successfully orchestrated a medical evacuation for a crew member aboard the 'Carlo Martello'. The vessel was traveling from Rotterdam to Brest, situated approximately 37 nautical miles off the coast of Ouessant. At 5:49 p.m., the emergency response began, culminating in the crew member being hoisted onto a Cayman helicopter from the French Navy at 8:23 p.m. Once airlifted, he was transported to the CHRU Brest, arriving at 8:46 p.m. for immediate medical attention.
