On July 13, 2017, at approximately 11 a.m., an incident occurred off the port of Le Havre involving the French fishing vessel 'Atlantis', identified by its IMO number 227065980 and weighing 26 gross tons. The 'Atlantis' collided with the anchored tanker 'Chelsey', which was in the process of arriving from Teesport. The collision resulted in a noticeable dent to the hull of the 'Chelsey'. In turn, the 'Atlantis' sustained damage to its port side stern, just above the waterline. Following the incident, the French police vessel 'Esteron' promptly escorted the damaged trawler to Honfleur for further investigation and repairs.
