On the morning of May 19, 2022, the Port Authority of Lavrio received an urgent report regarding the pleasure boat "Pasithea," which had become inoperative south of Agios Georgios with two 62-year-old crew members aboard. In a swift response, the tugboat "Christos XLI" was dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, it was joined by the speedboat "SI SOS I." The crew members were safely evacuated onto the tug and subsequently transferred to the speedboat. One of the 62-year-old individuals was airlifted by an Air Force helicopter and transported to Kotroni Airport, before being taken to the General Hospital of Athens for medical attention.
