Working Conditions Aboard the Clipper-Iris

In a timely response to a medical emergency, a 50-year-old crew member aboard the 'Clipper Iris' was airlifted in the early hours of February 28, 2023, after suffering a stroke. The cargo vessel, which was making its voyage from Antwerp to Houston, urgently called for help at 4:50 a.m. An NH90 Caiman helicopter from the Lanvéoc naval air base was dispatched, equipped with a medical professional to ensure proper care during the rescue operation.
