This significant event took place at the Marugame Shipyard, operated by Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Japan, on February 25, 2014. The 'CORONA SPLENDOR' is part of the renowned Corona-series fleet, meticulously crafted for the efficient transportation of thermal coal. This innovative series, developed by "K" Line, features advanced designs characterized by a wide beam and shallow draft, optimizing access to domestic Thermal Power Station ports for cargo discharge.
