This incident occurred in the waters off Lunenburg, with coordinates recorded at latitude 043 52 54.0 N and longitude 064 20 18.0 W. Despite the engine failure, the crew efficiently navigated the ship to its destination using the port side engine. However, the engine malfunction resulted in an unfortunate spill of around 20 liters of lubricating oil into the marine environment.
