On September 29, 2015, Campbell Shipping Company Limited proudly took delivery of its latest addition, a state-of-the-art 37,500 deadweight ton dry-bulk carrier named C/S Jenna. The vessel was officially named by Mrs. Bernadette Christie, the wife of the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, during a ceremonial event held at the renowned Imabari Shipyard in Imabari, Japan. Mrs. Christie had the honor of breaking a champagne bottle to mark the occasion, following which she embarked on a tour of the new vessel alongside company executives and distinguished guests. C/S Jenna, constructed by Imabari Shipyard, is part of Campbell Shipping’s strategic upgrade program aimed at enhancing operational efficiency within their fleet. With this addition, Campbell now manages a total of 17 dry bulk vessels, including three from Imabari Shipyard. Notably, C/S Jenna is the first of two sister ships currently being constructed for Campbell, featuring five cargo holds and accommodating a crew of 19. This significant addition highlights Campbell Shipping's commitment to innovation and excellence in maritime logistics.
