The pilot boat 'St David' arrived on the scene and conducted an eight-hour search before returning to Bermuda on the morning of November 9 to refuel, subsequently resuming their search efforts. By 4 p.m. that day, the 'St David,' along with 'Livorno Express' and 'Golden Lyderhorn,' continued their search for the missing yachtsman. Meanwhile, a U.S. Coast Guard C-130 aircraft returned to the U.S. for refueling, poised to extend support in the ongoing search efforts.
