Da-Zhi Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

On May 18, 2017, at approximately 1:45 PM, the container vessel 'Dha Zhi' collided with gantry crane No. 1 while conducting mooring operations at berth 21 of the Ro-Ro wharf in Abidjan. The impact resulted in the gantry crane toppling over and crashing onto the quay, leading to the displacement and damage of several nearby containers. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries stemming from the incident, but the damages were considerable. In the wake of the accident, a safety perimeter was established to ensure the ongoing safety of operations, while other port activities continued without disruption.
