Darya-Aum Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

In the early hours of March 10, 2020, a maritime incident occurred approximately 12 miles off the coast of Cape Espartel when the Spanish fishing vessel 'Tatiana Y Manuel - 3-CA-5-2-18' collided with the cargo ship 'Darya Aum'. The fishing craft, manned by a crew of three, sustained minor damage to its bow but was able to continue its journey before safely docking in Barbate. The cargo ship, carrying goods from Norfolk and bound for Suez with an estimated arrival on March 17, reported only superficial damage from the encounter. Authorities from Salvamento Marítimo were promptly informed of the incident.
